Lost In Wonderland

Lost in Wonderland was a concept shoot that epitomized randomness meets class. We were inspired by the many mad hatter shoots that have been done in the past however we decided on a more dainty tea party feel with bits of randomness thrown in.

Decor Inspiration

The runner for the table was made from old book pages that flowed over the ends, creating an almost magical feel as the pages were seemingly stuck in the air. Books and clocks were floating above the table to give a sense of this tea party happening while falling down the rabbit whole. The china and delicate details on the centre of the table were placed with a sense of accidental poise.

The fabric banner in the background was my own personal creation which gave the scene a messy meets delicate appearance.

Other pieces were inspired by Alice in Wonderland as whole... the door with the oversized keys, the cookies saying "eat me", the windows exemplifying the looking glass.

Wedding Apparel Inspiration

The brides dress is actually my own wedding dress which I redesigned from a vintage gown I found at a thrift shop in Southern California. The dress was hemmed and put together with a tulle skirt underneath to give it volume. The short wedding dress embodies the daintiness and unlikeliness of this shoot.

The rest of the bridal party's apparel is inspired by the randomness of the shoot itself. The bridesmaids dresses are matching, yet uniquely different.

The groomsmen attire parallels this concept with similar and yet distinctive outfits that ranged in color but not style. The groom wore simply and casual grey to emphasize the bride’s own clear beauty.

We chose headbands for the girls instead of hats to avoid the attention being taken away from the classy beauty. The boys hats again were casual and suited well the fall theme.

Becca's Baby Shower

One of the most beautiful baby showers I have ever been to. It was such a pleasure to make this event as special as possibly for this soon-to-be mother!
